Edumundo believes in innovating students' educational experience. Edumundo works with the most modern resources and technologies, however, we recognise that authors form the foundation of learning as carriers of knowledge.

We have developed the 'three layers model' of authorship:

  • The main author

    Firstly, there is the lead author. This is the carrier of knowledge with authority in theory and research.

  • The 'VIP'-author

    Secondly, we introduce a VIP author with authority and experience in the field.

  • The lecture and student authors

    Finally, and most importantly, we believe in the lecturer and student as co-authors. They produce and share content in our applications.

The selection for developing Edumundo's online learning method in 2013 will be based solely on volume. 2013 is our pilot year in which we published a select number of modules in the Higher Education sector and experimented with software, hardware and didactic concepts such as adaptive learning. Once these techniques have proven themselves we will begin using them for smaller courses from 2014 onwards.
